The 2024 HKI application will be carried out in waves (batches), where 3 (three) batches will be conducted and 1 (one) additional batch with optional status (referring to available funding), the funding schedule will be arranged as follows:

• Wave 1

Application for 56 Copyrights and 10 Patents will be open from February 15 to March 31.

• Wave 2

Application for 56 Copyrights and 10 Patents will be open from April 1 to June 30.

• Wave 3

Application for 74 Copyrights and 15 Patents will be open from August 1 to September 30.

• Wave 4 (optional)*

Open from October 1 to December 31 (*remaining patent and copyright quotas in 2024).

Requirements for HKI 2024 funding approved

In the application for Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) funded by the ITK Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM). It is mandatory to meet the following requirements:

• Is an active ITK lecturer and is not currently pursuing a PhD.
• Every lecturer is entitled to submit 1 (one) simple patent/patent and 1 (one) copyright in each wave (batch).
• Not a mandatory output of the results of ITK Research and Community Service (PPM).
• Supporting the local wisdom theme of Kalimantan and the Research and Community Service (PPM) ITK Roadmap.
